The Senior Solutions leadership team is responsible for many different aspects of our company, from HR & Compliance to hiring and staffing. Our extensive training process for our leadership team means that you can always count on getting the best care and support.

Meet the Founder & CEO, Kunu Kaushal

Kunu Kaushal is one of the latest influencers in the long-term care/ healthcare space in Tennessee. He studied business management at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and proceeded to work in multiple healthcare fields focused on the highest quality of care. Passionate about impacting the healthcare space, founding a senior care agency was a natural fit.

With the motivation of helping his grandparents as his first clients, Kunu started Senior Solutions Home Care in 2010. Today the company provides in-home care, nutritional support, and transportation services to the entire state of Tennessee and parts of Georgia and Florida.

In his free time, Kunu enjoys family time with his wife, Jill, and their three daughters. As an eternal scholar, you’ll often find Kunu researching or learning more about the art of entrepreneurship.

Dena Poitier

Dena has been a director in the home care industry for seven years. Prior to receiving her current role as Senior Solutions’ Operations Director, she served in several other positions, including as the Branch Director of our Cookeville region. Her main goal is to deliver and develop tactics to provide high-quality services for each and every one of our clients. She takes great pride in her ability to support families by finding them the best solutions for their loved ones.

Aimee Burns

Aimee Burns

Aimee has worked in home care and HR for the past 30 years, with a degree in business management, finance, and HR, as well as an HRPD certification. Aimee has enjoyed working with multiple home care agencies in both Florida and Tennessee, both in large corporations and nonprofits. Her life’s passion is finding cost-effective business solutions for home care companies, which makes her a great asset to Senior Solutions and our growing team!

Jamie started at Senior Solutions in mid-2015 as the Billing Manager, and was promoted to Finance Director in just 3 months! Jamie has worked with healthcare billing for over 16 years, and home care-specific billing for 7 years now. Her job is her passion, but she is also very family-driven; she loves spending time with her community of family and friends!

Kody Crotts

Kody Crotts started at Senior Solutions in August of 2017 as a Scheduling Manager. Since then, he has worked as a Floating Scheduler, a Scheduling Lead, a Jr. Scheduling Supervisor, a Contact Center Supervisor, and now, as the Scheduling Director. Clearly he has as a wide variety of experience to offer our team! Growing up, Kody was told that “when you find a job you love, you’ll never work another day in your life.” Well … Kody says he hasn’t “worked” since August 2017!

Leslie started her Senior Solutions journey as the People and Culture Manager in Fall of 2019! Leslie’s role was created with the purpose of solidifying our company approach to administrative hiring and onboarding, as well as building an intentional company culture that values its people and the work that we do. Leslie previously worked in a Boston-based home care agency for 5 years, serving in roles across HR, Operations, and Marketing. Fun fact: Leslie currently lives on an organic chestnut tree farm!

Shelby Hiter

Shelby has been the Communications Coordinator at Senior Solutions since July 2019, and primarily handles marketing, public relations, and a variety of internal and external communications. Prior to working with the Senior Solutions family, Shelby completed her Bachelor of Arts in History and English at Lipscomb University and her Master of Arts in English at the University of Chicago. It is her greatest passion to write both creatively and effectively for any given audience.

Chrystal Sands has always had a strong desire to both protect people and to better their lives, and has spent her career doing so in several different ways. After earning her Bachelors of Human Services degree and Masters in Business Administration at Bethel University, she served six years in the Army National Guard and spent two years as a mentor and therapeutic foster parent to at-risk teens before adopting her two children. She feels that her role as the Critical Incident Supervisor allows her to protect and support both clients and caregivers, and feels honored to join in the mission of adding years to life and life to years.

Courtney Carroll

Courtney has a Bachelors of Science degree from MTSU and has been with Senior Solutions Home Care since 2015. She started as a Caregiver, was promoted to Recruitment Manager, and now serves as the Corporate Recruitment Supervisor & Onboarding Supervisor. Her lifelong passion is caring for people and helping as many people in the community as she possibly can. We love Courtney’s positive attitude and her always-smiling face!

Darrell McGregor

Darrell has worked with Senior Solutions since summer of 2019, but he has built a decades-long career around transportation and processes with other organizations such as UPS. As Transportation Director, Darrell directs and manages both dispatchers and drivers in the Nashville, Atlanta, and Tampa regions. Outside of his passion for his work, Darrell also passionately collects model cars!

Melissa Herbison has worked in the home care industry for the past 35 years, working in a variety of home health, human resources, and payroll roles. She has played many key roles at Senior Solutions, and currently acts as our Care Coordinator Supervisor. We’re lucky to have her!

Private Pay Branch Director: Nashville and Transition Services Director

Holly Klemme

Holly Klemme joined the Senior Solutions family in May 2019! She currently serves as the private pay branch director in our Nashville region, and also as our Transition Services Director. Holly is a social worker who has worked in healthcare for the past 30 years, making her a great addition to our team! Fun fact: During one of Holly’s first few months at Senior Solutions, she was able to do chest compressions for someone on the side of the road until an ambulance arrived!

Gavin Yates

Gavin Yates is the Private Pay Branch Director for our Senior Solutions Home Care location in Memphis. He has a Bachelor’s degree focused in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communications from the University of Memphis and has been with Senior Solutions since 2017. In that time, he has helped open the Memphis office by performing roles in business development, recruitment, operations, and quality assurance.  His passion for home care comes from a drive for outreach, advocacy, and providing care for the population we serve. He especially cares about enabling people to age with dignity and independence.

Dana Crotts

When Dana began working in home care nine years ago, she knew she’d found her lifelong passion. Dana has been a Senior Solutions branch director for the past 3 years, with a recent shift toward focusing on private pay clients and care in the Jackson region. It is her goal to ensure that our seniors receive the best care possible and that they are able to grow older in their own homes. She is grateful to her family for their constant support!

Tabatha Bonds has worked in the healthcare industry for the past ten years. She first joined the Senior Solutions team as a scheduler, but was promoted to branch director within six months! When she is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and her twin daughters. We’re so grateful to have her on our team!

Kerry is one of our branch directors for the Dickson, Paris, and Clarksville regions of Tennessee. Kerry has been in business development for 31 years and has spent the last 7 of those years focusing solely on home care and care management at Senior Solutions. His goal is to continue to raise the bar in the home care industry, and to allow people to age at home, a place where they are able to maintain both their dignity and their independence. After work, he loves coming home to rural western Tennessee and enjoying all the pleasures of the simple life!

Branch Director: Brentwood, Columbia, and Lawrenceburg

Shannon Wright

Shannon Wright is the branch director for our Brentwood, Columbia, and Lawrenceburg offices. After spending 15 years working in a skilled nursing facility, Shannon Wright became a Director of Operational Support for a national non-emergent wheelchair company. She has worked on the non-medical side of client care for three years, working first as a Client Care Manager until joining Senior Solutions Home Care one and a half years ago. We’re so grateful for everything she does!

Branch Director: Dickson, Paris, and Clarksville

Sara Padley

Sara has spent over ten years working in healthcare, mostly within assisted living and nursing home facilities. Though she has ventured to other realms of healthcare, she always comes back to what she loves: providing personalized care directly to clients! She joined our Senior Solutions team as a caregiver in 2017, worked as a caregiver for a few months, then became a branch director in November 2018. We’re so grateful for her dedication to this team!

Angela Moore has been a member of the Senior Solutions family since 2018, when she joined the team as a Quality Assurance Manager. Since February of 2019, Angela has worked as the Branch Director for the Murfreesboro, Lebanon, Cookeville, and Tullahoma regions. Angela is passionate about caring for people and has been a nurse for over 20 years! We love having you on our team, Angela!

Sonya Inman joined our Senior Solutions team in January of 2017 as a Team Lead for our location in Jackson, Tennessee. She was soon promoted to Outreach, and eventually became our Branch Director for the Greater Jackson Region in July of 2018! Keep up the great work, Sonya!

Amanda started with Senior Solutions as a caregiver in January 2017, moved up to a Quality Assurance Manager in January 2017, then entered her current role as a Branch Director in February 2019. As a Branch Director, she currently leads our Knoxville, Bristol, and Chattanooga regions. When she’s not working, Amanda loves to scrapbook and take pictures of her 4 boys!
